For 27 years, Now Snowing Nightly has brought winter wonderland excitement to Central Florida. The original and premier “snowing” event brings one of Orlando’s only synthetic ice rinks, community performances, and special concert events throughout the holiday season. The month-long celebration is made fun with strolling Charles Dickens-style carolers, photos with Santa, horse-drawn carriage rides, train rides, and ice skating. The most exciting part of it all is the nightly snowfall! At 6:00 pm, 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm, snow descends on the village and will have you feeling like you’re in your own personal snowglobe.
Date: November 29th – December 31st, 2025
Address: Between Highway 192 and Interstate 4 near Walt Disney World
Admission: Free to enter the village. Cost varies per activity.
We love to come to Disney’s Boardwalk each and every year to see the lights and decorations. Walk around the lake, eat at the restaurants, and finish your day off at Beaches and Cream with a yummy ice-cream cone. The Boardwalk allows you to see the fireworks from Epcot while having space to move and walk around. Be sure to try the Flying Fish restaurant too!
Although this is one of the busier locations in Orlando for enjoying Christmas festivities, Disney Springs comes alive with holiday magic. The shopping is world-class, the dining options are endless, and there are so many activities and events throughout the season to get you into the holiday spirit. Pick up a complimentary map and take the family on a Christmas tree stroll throughout Disney Springs. You’ll find 19 beautifully decorated trees inspired by Pixar films, Disney characters, and theme park favorites like Coco, Toy Story, Star Wars, Moana, and more. There will be corresponding stickers for each tree to stick onto your map. Once complete, take your map to a participating location to receive your prize!
Meet Santa and send a letter to the North Pole at Santa’s Workshop near Disney’s Pin Traders. A virtual queue will be used for this event instead of a physical queue. And stick around for the daily holiday entertainment and nightly snowfall! There is so much going on at Disney Springs for Christmas, you’ll be glad you visited!
Each year, we love to head to the Grand Floridian at Disney and look at its gorgeous decorations. Their annual tradition is to set up a giant gingerbread house, which is absolutely breathtaking (you can even buy a few pieces at the store!) You can also grab afternoon tea here. This will make you truly feel in the Christmas spirit!
